Prayer Request: Work

I am a kindergarten teacher in a setting that is very secular in nature. I do not see the ways to bring Christ to the children here.

Eight years ago, a prophet had a word for me: Encouraged me to share with the children about the Lord said "I know the government says thus and so but share."

Other things of a more personal nature he spoke to my life he was right on. I had been sharing, but certain staff there who are secular and do not know Abba's heart are opposed.

I walk a fine line and sometimes I feel myself fearful.

Sad.

Praying with you...

Hello,

I want you to know that I am praying with you that God would give you wisdom in your current situation. I pray that He would send His Holy Spirit to abide with you each day and to direct your actions and your words. I also pray that God would give you favor with the children and with the adults that you work with. That their hardened hearts would be softened towards you and that, by your example they may, day by day, be drawn more and more to the Lord.

Something that came to my heart as I was typing you this message is that you can share God's love with the children without crossing over the boundaries set up by your job. Much of sharing the gospel with children is really just explaining how special they are and how they have a special purpose that they were designed to do. Talking to them about a great destiny that they were created for can plant the seeds and God can send someone else in a different position that can harvest them. Telling them that they were created special leaves an open window for someone to later explain who created them. You may be the person who plants certain seeds in their hearts that God will later use others to harvest and develop.

I don't know if that in any way fits for you, but I would at least suggest praying and asking God if it would please Him to have you focus your energies in that direction with the children. If you are still learning to hear God's voice, this short Bible study may help you.
