Prayer Request: No Job, No Money and problems with our kids

Help, I am stuck! I had to quit working after 9 years in an impossible job in order to not have a nervous breakdown. Now I'm trying to get another job, and nothing has worked out.

My husband got laid off a month ago and between the 2 of us, there has been a lot of struggle in our careers. I'm trying to go back to school to get my B.A. (at age 53) but it looks like I am going to have to give that up too.

My dad died a year ago and left us enough money to get by on, but the lawyers have been dragging their feet. All I ask is that we get the money we've been waiting for soon, so we have enough to get by until we get back to work.

Please pray the lawyers finish up their work and the judge will be favorable to us and to our situation before we run out of money!

We also take care of my 80 year old mother who suffers from Alzheimer's. Our 26 year old son suffers from bipolar disease and his mental illness is a strain on the family. He feels very bitter about it. His medications caused him to gain 100+ lbs. He can't meet any women because of his weight and he gets so stressed out about that sometimes. Please pray for him.

Also, my sister-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer. Please pray for her. Thank you.

Help! My 24 year old daughter can't get her life together. I love her dearly, but she is irresponsible with money, deeply in debt, refuses to give up partying and being impulsive in favor of acting like a responsible adult. She lives at home and has no appreciation of all the things her family does for her. She's lazy, she's inconsiderate. She expects everything to be handed to her on a silver platter.

I'm afraid if she doesn't watch it, she's going to end up going in a bad direction and will never get straightened out. I've done everything I can to push her in the right direction, but she just feels sorry for herself and refuses to act like a grown-up. My husband wants to throw her out of the house. I understand his frustration, but I don't want to get carried away in anger, I want to help her.

Please pray that God will help all of us figure out how to deal with this as a good Christian family and get our daughter on the right track.
