When I married my husband I was already pregnant and so I didn't have a job. He had a really good job though so I was able to stay home and take care of our son when it was born. After standing by my husband of 25 years through a major downturn in his life, which forced me to step up and look for higher paying work to keep our house and support our children when he could no longer work, I found out he had been having an affair with his work associate.

I've known my husband for close to 6 years now and we got married last August. Just 6 months into the marriage my husband started having an affair with a 28 years old woman. I'm 31 and he is 32. I'm not saying that I'm a perfect wife, but I try my level best to give the best. For me a marriage is always a work in progress, but this woman who got married @ the age of 18 and divorced @ the age of 26 has even spoken to me and told me the unimaginable thing that she has done with him with regards to intimacy. He even got her pregnant and they aborted the baby. I really don't know how to deal with this situation. He blames me for everything. Now he doesn't even talk to me, making it look like as if Im the one having the affair. Many of my close friends have told me to leave him, because if a man can cheat once he can cheat twice or thrice. they keep saying its not worth it, more I do not have any kids. I used to pray, but now 7 months into all this, I feel I have given up hope. We bought a house together and now he wants to sell it. It has come to a point now when I see him..i feel like nauseous and become even more depressed. Lord I lift up the wife and her children for God you know her heart you have heard her cries you have left us your peace, oh God I have been there I know your love and I know you will prevail. I thank you for you took all this heartache, this isn't for us to endure I believe in you, I believe it is done and now we thank you and expect the manifestations of your word. Remember who you are in Christ and heir to the kingdom take ahold of the authority given to you, know that you possess the spirit of the most high, the same power that raised Christ from death, satan lost all power and authority over you two thousand years ago when Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross, believe your father. I know you are hurt and really I don't even know that there are words to describe the devastating emotions you feel, other than to say I have been there get into the word the more you hear the word the more knowledge and power you obtain, watch Joseph Prince, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer keep on being fed by the word, renew your mind, have the mind of Christ then your thoughts will always be on God's word, He is the only hope. There are times when God has to bring us out in order to bring us back in. Let your Father love you bring you peace and give you rest. Read 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all of your cares(hopes,cares,hurts everything) upon him once and for all. For he cares for you. 2 Corinthians rely on God's wisdom not man's. Let his promises be on your mind all the time. I am assured he will do what he has said.

My husband left on Sept 2010 and is now living with his affair partner. He has filed for divorce and we are about to loose the house on foreclosure. I have three small children and I just ask God to guide me through this process. I so much want restoration for my marriage, but sometimes I start to doubt and wonder why I should even bother. He has completely removed himself from our lives and is not even coming around the house anymore because his affair partner does not want him around me. I find it so hard to believe that all of this is happening. I pray every day for his salvation, please help me in doing the same. I ask God to give me strength and to allow me to keep the house. I am so thankful for this web page, it has given so many woman and men an opportunity to be able to share their hurts and needs with others so that we may all agree in prayer for these brothers and sisters in the Lord. First let me say that I have been there on the giving end and on the receiving end of hurt, drugs, adultery you name it I was bound really tight but God is stronger than ANYTHING and set me free (this was not easy, it took me 20yrs before I would surrender myself to the will of God.) Doesn't need to take that long but you first have to make up your mind that no matter what you see (your visual perception) you are going to surrender all and trust in the Grace(power) of God to bring you through and beyond to a better place. When a person is under the influence of any type of drug or finding themselves with another woman or man outside their marriage, please begin by considering the source, this isn't God. Satan is and will continue to deceive these people. This does not excuse what is going on, but now know you are in a spiritual war. Do not be drawn into selfishness at this time(don't start trying to repay, this is just what satan wants then he has both of you. This is where is got me). Begin to pray and praise God, stay in the spirit at all times, this will keep you strong and untouchable. Use the power which has been given to you by your Father. There will be times that you must protect your children from this, there are times when you need to take a stand(this can be tough) just remember that God is in control, never give up what God promises you. I pray that the veil of deceit will be removed from these individuals, that the Lord just touch them in such away that they repent and turn to the Lord, that they give themselves to God, ask for forgivness and begin a new life, that your hearts be mended. Trust in the Lord, BELIEVE like Abraham believed, without wavering, this is only possible through our merciful God, lean on him, rely on him in all you do. I pray that the Lord give you rest that will give you peace. Prayer works and you have a prayer partner that is praying for you and your situation. T

My husband and I need prayer he has left me for a 19 year old girl I am 44. He uses meth and thinks he is in love? He did the same thing 3 years ago thinking he was in love then too! While he uses he acusses me of adultry! I have remained faithful to him but he doesnt beleive me! I have told him to stay away when he is high because he keeps me and our 15 & 13 year old daughters up all night and it has been wearing on us! He says I abandoned him in his time of need! I feel horrible condemed! He says he has a good woman now! She is 19 and also a drug user! he says he wants to get straight! He was just home last weekend telling me how much he loves me we spent the weekend together! Sat night we went out together and he seen a freind that had meth! they got high and at about 6am he laid next to me holding me tight telling me how much he loved me then he said he was going for a bike ride and never returned he is with her! HELP Please pray for us! I know he loves me and I Love him!

May the good Lord bless all who seek him in difficult times. I too was lost, real lost. For 20 years I traveled around that mountain of drugs, adultery, theft looking to fill a loveless marriage. I am a born again christian and still I did all these things. My husband is an alcoholic and drug user, I raised two children with him and spent many, many nights, weeks, months by myself. I looked for love in all the wrong places too. It took me 20 years to figure out that God was and is my first love, my refuge. This isn't always easy and if it were not for others in prayer for me, I would still be totally lost. I am here to tell you that there is hope, don't ever give up or give in to the devil's LIES, and that is just what he does, and when you are down and lonely he uses this opportunity to strike, the word says resist the devil and he must flee, do it, call on the name of Jesus. Don't ever stop praying for your spouses, prayer works. God is a forgiving God. Don't ever think that he won't forgive you, you must forgive your spouse, hard I know, but start to rely on God's Love. I am still married and even though I am no longer traveling around that mountain my husband still consumes alcohol and still uses drugs, I look at him through Christ eyes, and have faith that God will take care of the rest. Know that I am praying without ceasing for you, I have been there, been hurt, cheated on and left. But I too love my husband, and I no longer look to repay wrong for wrong, the Lord has delivered me from my past. I know choose to live by the spirit so that I don't walk back into the flesh. God is a good God and faithful. Love even though you might not want to, you will be victorious.

Need the most deepest strength & encouragement on what to do. My husband has left me & the children 3 months ago for my x-bestfriend & drugs. He blames me for leaving for always kicking him out of the house. My reasons were that we have had a past of drug use for 8 years, lost our 2 older children, became homeless, and hit rock bottom. We found a home church in 2002 & have been delivered from all & set free. He's been falling back to the drug use starting last year here & there & since april 1 2010 he's just left us after 11 years of our relationship & 5 years married. He's a very good person, daddy & kids & i miss him & love him still. Going through a very hard time adjusting but at the same time feel there is hope for him. Don't have the urge to go through a divorce ether just kind of gave this whole situation to god & moved out of the way. In this time i'm taking care of myself & keeping my focus on gods plan & purpose.

My husband is on drugs (herion) and he is a hard working man and I know he loves me but it's the drugs that have taken over him......I have commited adultry, left the churh, stop praying,going behind his back seeing someone else.
That's not what I want I love him and haven't been getting the attention at home.......the saying is you reap what you sow...I'm scared I don't want to live like this. I know I need God in my life. How do I get on the right track?

Lord please do your will with this marriage and help heal her heart. I was in the same sitution done to me. I had to move on with my life becuase of abuse. But 9 years God protected and watched over me even when i was pushing him away from me. But I tryed to rember to pray and thru God I finally got away. So I pray everything turns out for the best. Please pray for me as much as you can and with as many people as you can.My name is Kimberly,
God came into my life almost 4 years ago, I started going to church 1 year ago, and I have
recently changed churches in the last month because the other church gossiped and such and
the people didn't seem to be too happy. I am 26 years old and am going through alot of self
doubt. I would like to have more Christian friends, not people who say they are christians,
but people who study Gods law and try to love others as much as possible like I am trying to
do. It is not easy to find friends or people who believe in Christ like I do and like I am
trying to do.
I got married June 18, 2000 my marriage wasn't that good, for one I didn't have God or even
care to read his words like I do now.For two, I was overjealous and thought my husband was
always going to leave me because I did't treat him good enough, I thought that he would find
a partner that would treat him better, I was guilty alot because I was mentaly, verbally,
physically abusive.I never told my husband why I was mad, because I was ashamed of my jealousy
and alot of my other feelings. My husband left me around March 11, 2004, he was in Virgina
taking a class,he was in the army, I thought I heard a woman in the background, I didn't tell
him why I was mad at him, I tried real hard to not be jealous, I even got to the point where I
would talk bad about other women who I thought were beautiful,
