Prayer Request: Family

Please pray for my family. We are going through a very difficult situation. My wife's mother called DSS (Department of Social Services) and filed a false and exaggerated report about my wife abusing our children (mainly "emotionally abusing" our children).

This situation has escalated with DSS over the last month and they are requiring mandatory psychological evaluations for my wife and children. DSS has mentioned removing our children from the home. This is terrifying to us.

We do not understand this. We do not abuse our children. We love our children dearly and we are terrified at the thought of our children being taken from us and placed in foster care.

My wife's mother has been previously discredited in court for allegations of a similar nature. We explained this and explained the falsehoods and exaggerations, but this is still being escalated.

Please pray for us for wisdom and discernment. Please pray for a miracle for our home and family. Please pray that God will let us keep our children.

Please please pray for my wife also. This is very hard on her. Please pray that she will find godly Christian women to be her friend and for emotional and prayer support through this difficult time.

Please pray for our children. We need to see the Lords hand in this and we need to know what He wants us to do. This is very stressful and overwhelming to us.

Please pray for my wife's mother also. She is not a Christian, and that may be part of why she called. She doesn't understand some of our convictions about raising our children.
