My Testimony… He’s Done Enough

First given honor to my Lord and savoir Jesus Christ who’s first in my life, to my Pastor, Freedom For Living Ministries, members and friends, truly I would like to say that “Jesus has done enough.” God is good all the time and all the time, God is good. I want to tell you my story. A very small story, so small I guest I should say….. MY TESTIMONY
On Thursday evening at 3:00, my Bible, Wayne, my daughter Anita, and I was on our way to Greensboro to see my doctor for an appointment. You see, everywhere I go, I always take my Bible. Even if I don’t read but three or four verses, I still take it with me. I was thinking, when I get there wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could walk into the doctor’s office instead of riding in my wheel-chair. In the Bible, I went to Luke 5: 24... He said to the paralyzed man to get up, take up his mat and go home. Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God.
I thought about the paralyzed man and about his faith. All I could think was having the faith to walk again. I was dreaming about walking when Wayne said, we’re here. When we step into the doctor’s office, he was ready to see me so we went to the Lab room. My blood pressure was great and my coumadin level was perfect, but I was still worried. I wanted to walk. Before I asked the doctor if I would be able to walk, he said, Esther, you are a blessed woman. Someone has been praying for you. He told me about his other patient, a man had one stroke. He couldn’t hear, speak, but he could barely see and walk. He said Esther, I’ve told you that you’ve been blessed and I will see you next month. We left, but all I could think of was the man that had “one” stroke that left him half blind, could not hear or talk. In 2005, I had 2 strokes, 2 seizures, and 2 heart-attacks at once. God is good all the time and all the time, GOD IS GOOD. Thank you Lord. You’ve been so good to me Lord Jesus. If I had ten-thousand tongues, I couldn’t thank you enough.
When we returned home, I told Wayne to roll me at the computer. I was reading the Bible on the computer. I went to Luke 18:35-43 A Blind Beggar Receives His Sight said… As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he herd the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, “ Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” He called out, “ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way rebuked him and to be quiet. He kept right on shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus said, “What do you want me to do for you? The man said, “Lord, I want to see.” Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God.
After reading the blind man, my mind took me back to the doctor saying that the man couldn’t half see, couldn’t hear, or talk. That’s when I looked out of my living room window. I could see the trees, the streets, the people walking and talking. Then I looked into the sky and that’s when I realized , I CAN SEE. “Thank you God.” Thank you for my hearing, talking, and my sight God. I could have been like the other patient God. I thank God for my life, health, and strength. Thanking you Lord for a brand new day, one which I’ve never seen before. Thanking you God that I can talk, hear and see. Thanking you Lord Jesus, for you are my keeper, you are my healer. I thank you God for just being You. I give you the highest praise. HALLELUJAH. Different people asked me, “ Lord why you.”
As I was crying, I said, “If the Lord never done anything else for me, He done enough.”
Then I said, “Lord, why not me!
