"well, think about it... all of these books have been around for ages. and to top it off, how could you be sure any book is right? i mean, isn't it possible the other books could be correct?"

"You know how God has "Endless love for his children"? and all humans are his "children" if his love is truly endless why would he send you to Hell for not believing in that love?"

"There were religions before Christianity, who says it didn't inspire someone else to just make up a religion, documentation wasn't good.

I did not make those, my friends asked me them and i'm trying to help him stay close to god.

You know, I have struggled with the same questions and still have days where I question things like that. There is a reason why it is called "faith." God does love us all. You can feel it when you are around family, friends, and if you're in a relationship, that too. The stories in the Bible have been around for thousands of years, but the focus isn't necessarily the story itself, rather the message behind it. A simple one being Jonah and the whale. The point isn't that Jonah got swallowed by a whale, it's that he had to learn that he cannot avoid God. I hope this helped:]
