Loving a Christian friend, is he the one?

This may sound silly but I met this guy on a mission trip 2 years Ago, i came to visit America for. Month ro see if this was god plan for me to worship here we are close but he freaked out because he thought I liked him I said I didn't when I do! He says he see's me like his sister but I feel like he is the one can't imagine life without him. I am British he is American and he is 6 years older than me help?
