When I have major life changes in my life I find that I do not stick to studying God's word. I will be making out a to do list to study God's word and pray formally to God.

I commit to growing my faith, knowing His word, using my gifts for His glory, building my confidence--who I am in Christ, and restoring my relationship.
I must commit to getting up 1/2 hour early each day
I must find an hour each night to study
I must learn a scripture each week & meditate on it
I must develop and stick to a schedule during the evenings

The changes I intend to make really is to seek the Lord more. To make it a lifestyle of seeking His face as I know the plans the Lord have in store for me are many and are great.
I intend to seek Him concerning His will for me and I know the rest will fall in place. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness and All these things shall be added unto you...this is my commitment.

My grandson moved in with my husband and I on 12/22/2010. He was being bullied in school and when he retaliated he was the one punished. I have not studied my Bible since 12/25/2010 until today. I will get up earlier and do my studies before I awake my grandson for school.

I need to fill my mind with His word. My past has been filled with severe low self-esteem and shyness. Thank God He has brought me such a very long way. In order to be effective for Him and leave His mark on the lives of those around me, I need to put Him first and others second. Making time for Him and His word and focusing on others more needs to be priority in my life.
