My children studied in a Christian school that is owned a Christian church where started my being a Christian.
It was 1998 when I was baptized. It was a very gradual change in me because I had mental illnesses-anxiety and depression as a result of a panic attack. It was from these conditions that I began to have the feeling that I was searching for God's presence so I initiated the attendance of Bible studies. I was attracted by the devotion that the group was giving that I felt I wanted to have such activity. Then I began attending the Sunday Services regularly not realizing that I was starting to be closer to God. Fellowships and prayer meetings took a big part in my recovery, and finally I was baptized.
Years went by and I had a big, big chance of recovery. Prayers of my church mates and the time that I gave God helped me a lot. I thank Him for helping me get back to the peaceful state of mind that I longed to have. It is amazing that God truly helps those who are in need of His help when we ask for it in accordance to the level of our faith.
To God be the glory!
