Spiritual Christian maturity is something that we all strive for. That is what we discussed in our free Beatitudes Bible Study.
Here is what Loria had to say...
1) Do you consider yourself to be a mature Christian? Why or why not?
I consider myself to be a mature christian to a point. I realize that I have let my daily life, cares and responsibility take precedent over the things of the Lord. With that in mind, I am mature as some "church-goers". But have not stepped into all that the Lord has for me by neglect of his word.
2) If you had to define the terms meekness and humility in your own words, how would you describe them? What is your honest gut reaction when you hear each of these words?
Meekness is an attribute that describes a person that is not self motivated. A meek person will not seek their own way. A person full of humility is humble and is much like that of meekness. A person that has humility must have meekness. Humility is that action of one that is meek. It's action that is selfless.
3) Do you think the Beatitudes are still relevant for the world we live in today? Why or why not?
Beatitudes is relevant today it gives us a template for molding our lives into lives that are acceptable to God.
