Christian Dating Advice

I am a Pastor's daughter and Love the Lord. I am currently attending a university right now in a different town from where my parents live. I have very high standards when it comes to dating, as I have never dated a guy before. Recently I met this very nice guy in whom I share many similarities, who I see would be a potential in my future. He recently invited me to bible study and I did not attend for two weeks because the first week I had much homework and I also don't want to start so quick in a relationship and look desperate. I want to make him earn it. It is now the third week of his bible study he initiated and I don't know whether I should go or not???
